placing your hopes on discounted loan rates, there are two figures you need to remember: $417, 000 for conforming loans and $625, 500 for jumbo loans. These are
the limit restrictions beginning in 2009.
The present loan limit is still around $100, 000 more than the jumbo loan limit restriction but it's only good until the end
of 2007. If your mortgage amount doesn't exceed these limits, you could look forward to financial backing from Freddie or Fannie. Go overboard and you might find
obtaining the financing you need at the low rates you want could be a challenge.
Getting mortgage refinance loans in California
There are a few
important factors you need to consider when shopping for mortgage refinance loans in California. Keep these in mind to make sure that you land the best deals that
are right for you and your resources. These factors include:
- The length of time you plan to live in your house (if you plan to move out within the next 5 or

- The difference in your current interest rate and the new mortgage refinance

- Your built-up equity

My wife knows I'm not ready for children, yet she deliberately skips the pill? What to do? Pls help?
We've been married for a little over a year now and a couple of close friends are starting to have children, which my wife gets incredibly clucky about. I see her with friend's children and how she acts around them and, while I admit she would make a great mother, I'm just not ready for our lives to change so dramatically yet. We're still working through bills, mortgage, etc and I feel it's just not the right time as yet, that it'll add pressure.
It isn't that I don't like children- I'm sure I'd like them if they were our own, if that makes any sense- and we've had a few serious discussions on the topic where I've told her I'm not ready and that I don't feel we're in the right place to bring children into the world right now, as far as the financial side of it, whereas she disagrees and got very emotional about it.
So I've made my viewpoint very clear. Not now but once all the pressure from everything else has calmed, definitely in the next two years or so. I don't think she respects that one bit; I've found pregnancy magazines that she's keeping in her drawer near our bed and she has deliberately skipped the pill several times, she's told me herself, like it's a way to "get back at" me.
It drives me crazy. While I like the idea of having a family of our own like she does, she's not thinking of the extras that come along with it, the costs financially. All she is thinking of, is a little baby. I don't know what to do. I love my wife, of course, but sometimes she can be very frustrating and I feel like there is a line that she's crossed in finding ways of purposely getting herself pregnant despite my concerns.
What would you do in this situation? Give in?

Another bankruptcy question.?
We haven't been paying our mortgage on our house because the price is ridiculous, we just lost our second house, my mother lost her job, we have way too much debt, AAAAAANND i have $15,000+ worth of student loans. We've scrounged up enough money(borrowing from family, saving from not paying the mortgage) to put a down payment on a new house, unfortunately it's gonna have to be in my name which is strange since i currently don't have a job(dont get out of school till april).
Can the creditors seize the house "I" buy, even if THEY'RE the ones filing for bankruptcy?
First of all, the price went UP on our house, because a man was "helping us refinance" but instead took 2 huge loans out on the house and fled. We have no idea where the man or the money went. We were not expecting it at all, I'm only 18, I dont know shit about this stuff. It's all confusing and completely stressful. All i know is that it's 5 of us, and we have no idea what to do.
